Kansas' Carlton Bragg Suspended Indefinitely For Violation Of Team Rules

Kansas suspended Carlton Bragg for a violation of team rules.

Kansas announced this evening that it has suspended forward Carlton Bragg for a violation of team rules.

According to an official release from the university, Bragg's suspension is not related to the alleged incident in McCarthy Hall. That incident allegedly involved a 16-year old girl visiting McCarthy Hall, the University of Kansas dorm that houses the basketball team.

Here is the release from the school, which comes a couple of days before the Jayhawks' huge showdown against fellow top 10 team Kentucky.

Bragg is a sophomore on the Jayhawks' team, and averages 6.1 and 4.8 rebounds per game.

This adds to the distractions faced by Kansas before the Jayhawks huge matchup with Kentucky on Saturday.

Kansas, 18-2 and ranked No. 2 in the country, is set to tip off against Kentucky, 17-3 and ranked No. 4, at 6:15 p.m. E.T. on Saturday. The game will be televised on ESPN.
