Once the dust settles from Black Friday, basketball fans will have the chance to enjoy an intriguing matchup between the No. 2 Kansas Jayhawks and the No. 5 Tennessee Volunteers.

Despite all the talent on the Jayhawks, Bill Self's roster struggled to put away Marquette on Wednesday. As for the Volunteers, they're coming off an offensive outburst over Louisville.

Nonetheless, this upcoming showdown features two of the best programs in the entire country.

Considering that there isn't as big a talent gap between Kansas and Tennessee, it'll be on the upperclassmen to separate themselves in this matchup.

Lagerald Vick and Udoka Azubuike usually lead the Jayhawks, meanwhile Grant Williams and Admiral Schofield carry the Volunteers. With the opportunity to win the NIT Season Tip-Off tournament on the line, expect both championship-caliber teams to put on a show.

Tipoff is set for 9:00 p.m. ET from the Barclays Center. The game will be available on ESPN2.

Dan Shulman and Jay Bilas will be on the call.
