LaMelo Ball, the youngest of the Ball brothers, was injured during his team's game on Monday.
LaMelo Ball and his older brother LiAngelo are still over in Lithuania playing for Vytautas, and Monday, their father was on-site to coach the team during one of the games for the Big Baller Brand International Tournament. It didn't go so well.
LaMelo and his teammates lost to Wilki Morskie in blowout fashion, and to make matters worse, the youngest of the Balls was injured in the process.
The video below, via Overtime, shows Ball coming down awkwardly after a missed three-pointer. It's hard to tell what happens, but it ends with Ball on the ground in pain.
Ball was taken out of the game and will not play in his team's next contest. LaVar Ball is describing the injury as "minor" at this point.
“Melo is hurt right now so he’s not the same guy,” said LaVar Ball, who announced that his son will not play tomorrow because things aren’t going right for him. “He’s done.”
Ball was 0-of-7 from three before going down with the injury.
