The Big East Conference got some major college basketball transfer news this afternoon.
Marquette’s No. 2 and No. 3 leading scorers have decided to transfer out of the program at the end of the semester. The program announced the news this afternoon.
Sam and Joey Hauser, freshman and junior forwards, respectively, will be leaving the school.
This comes as fairly shocking news, as Marquette is being listed as a top 10 team in most of the preseason top 25 polls.

Sam Hauser is a 6-foot-8 forward with one season of eligibility left. He averaged 14.9 points and 7.2 rebounds a game in 2018-19.
Joey Hauser is a 6-foot-9 forward with one season of eligibility left. He averaged 9.7 points and 5.3 rebounds a game last season.
Both players should receive significant interest on the transfer market.
Meanwhile, this is a major blow to Marquette’s hopes in 2019-20.
