Meet the leading scorer in the country.

Unless you're a massive women's college basketball fan, you probably haven't heard of Joyce Kennerson. You're missing out.

The 5-foot-4 guard is one of the best players in the country. She's maybe the funnest player to watch play, too.

Kennerson is an elite scorer. She's leading the country in scoring with just a couple of months left to go in the year.

The elite guard is averaging 25.3 points a game. Kennerson has a do-it-all game and is a good 3-point shooter, making more than 37 percent of her attempts. She totals more than 4 assists and 3 rebounds a contest, too.

Kennerson, a Texas native, has improved greatly each year of her career. She averaged a little under 10 points a game as a freshman, a little under 19 points as a sophomore and now she's leading the country in scoring at more than 25 a contest.

Texas Southern isn't having an incredible season. The Tigers are 12-8, but 7-2 in the conference. Hopefully we'll get to watch Kennerson play in the NCAA Tournament.

Meet her below.
