Michael Porter Is Predicting Missouri Will Beat Kentucky This Year

The Tigers' commit has a bold prediction for the 2017-18 season.

Missouri's basketball program has never beaten Kentucky.

That's going to change during the 2017-18 season - that's what one of the Tigers' incoming players is saying, anyway.

Michael Porter Jr., the No. 1 overall recruit in the 2017 class who's committed to Mizzou, is predicting a win over the loaded Wildcats next season.

From the Courier-Journal:

Missouri welcomed the No. 1 player in the 2017 recruiting class in Michael Porter Jr. earlier this year.

"They're loaded," Porter Jr. said about Kentucky in March at the McDonald's All-American events in Chicago. "We've had a lot of conversation here about who is going to win that game. I think we're going to come out with the (win)."

Missouri should be much improved in 2017-18, as the Tigers aren't just bringing in Porter, but also four-stars Jeremiah Tilmon and Blake Harris and three-star C.J. Roberts.

It should be a fun game, at least.
