Michael Porter Sr. Tweets Picture Seeming To Confirm Missouri Job

It appears Michael Porter Sr. is headed to Missouri.

Missouri appears to have hired the father of the country's No. 2 basketball recruit.

Michael Porter Sr. tweeted this evening a picture of a Tiger, which is Missouri's mascot, with the caption "New Profile Pic."

So, it looks like he's headed to Missouri.

You would think means that his son, Michael Porter, will be following him to Missouri. And that's probably what will happen.

Porter, a 6-foot-10, 213-pound small forward, is the No. 2 prospect in the 2017 class, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

The former Washington commit has gotten out of his National Letter of Intent and says he's now considering the Huskies along with Missouri, Virginia and Oklahoma.

The Tigers are the overwhelming favorite now that they've hired his dad.

“That’s home for me and they reached out to my dad with a job offer so if he accepts that, not saying I’ll definitely go there, but it’d be big," he told USA TODAY Sports.

A Missouri commitment could be coming shortly.
