Michigan Lands Commitment From Ohio Grad Transfer Jaaron Simmons

The star grad transfer is committing to Michigan.

Ohio graduate transfer Jaaron Simmons is headed to the Big Ten, according to a report by The Athens Messenger.

Simmons has decided to transfer to Michigan, per the report.

The 6-foot-1, 184-pound redshirt junior guard averaged 15.9 points, 6.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds a game for the Bobcats during the 2016-17 season.

He was a first-team all-conference player.

Simmons has one season of eligibility left and will able to play right away.

Michigan is losing two of its best scorers in Derrick Walton Jr. and Zak Irvin, so Simmons should be able to step in and contribute immediately.

This will be the talented guard's third collegiate stop. He started his career at Houston before transferring to Ohio.
