Tom Izzo is known to be an emotional head coach for Michigan State over the course of his tenure. Well, the leader of the Spartans found himself in the headlines this morning for his outburst on freshman forward Aaron Henry.

During the team's first-round matchup with Bradley, Izzo went on an absolute tirade toward the sideline. Most of his passion and frustration was directed toward Henry.

Even though the situation didn't seem too bad at first, standout guard Cassius Winston did have to get in the middle of Izzo and Henry.

As you could imagine, the majority of people on social media took offense to Izzo's actions. The reoccurring criticism was that he went too far by getting in his player's face.

In order to clear the air on this situation, Henry went on Twitter to express his view. The freshman didn't exactly write anything about the commotion on the sidelines, but he did approve FS1 analyst Chris Carter's comments on the verbal exchange.

Here is the tweet:

Instead of blasting the Michigan State coach, the Hall of Fame wideout is taking a different approach. Carter believes Izzo's coaching style is effective and helps turn his players into men.

The Spartans will have to move past these storylines and focus on their next opponent in the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
