Cooper Flagg has impressed scouts all summer, and it appears that his work is paying off. Now ranked as the No. 1 player in the Class of 2024, Flagg is set to take the next step in his college recruitment by embarking on his first official visits.

Flagg's inaugural visit is set for this weekend, and it's with a program that has experienced a lot of success.

According to ESPN's Jeff Borzello, Flagg is set to head to Storrs and visit the defending national champion UConn Huskies.

Flagg already has multiple visits lined up for the rest of the year. He will head to Durham and Lawrence to visit Duke and Kansas next month in October before the start of the college basketball season.

UConn has emerged as a premier program in college basketball once again under head coach Dan Hurley, who took over for another national championship winner in Kevin Ollie in 2018.

Hurley took the Huskies back to the tournament in 2021, and he went all the way in 2023 with a dominant run that saw the team defeat each of its six opponents by double digits.

Flagg will have his pick of colleges in the coming months as he is more aggressively recruited, and his decision will be eagerly anticipated.
