No. 3 Tennessee vs No. 14 Wright State Preview: Game Time, Channel, Betting Line, Prediction

The No. 3 seed Tennessee Volunteers (25-8) take on the No. 14 seed Wright State (25-9) in the First Round of the South Region. The game will be played at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Thursday. The start time is 12:40 p.m. ET.

Preview: Tennessee took the SEC by storm this season. The Volunteers used a strong run in the SEC Tournament to secure a No. 3 seed in the NCAA tournament for a first round matchup against Wright State - who won the Horizon League title over Cleveland State.

Tennessee lost a close contest against Kentucky in the SEC championship game, sending the team to its first NCAA tournament since 2014.

This is Tennessee's 21st NCAA Tournament appearance, and the first under head coach Rick Barnes.

This is Wright State's third NCAA Tournament appearance ever. They appeared in the event back in 1993 and 2007.

Prediction: Tennessee will continue its surprise season with an easy win over an outmatched Wright State program. Tennessee wins.
