The No. 4 seed Arizona Wildcats (27-7) take on the No. 13 seed Buffalo (26-8) in the First Round of the South Region. The game will be played at the Taco Bell Arena in Boise on Thursday. The start time is 9:40 p.m. ET.

Preview: Arizona suffered through plenty of turmoil late in the season as head coach Sean Miller came under fire from a reported recruiting violation allegedly involving one of the team's star players. The Wildcats didn't let that distract the team en route to back-to-back Pac-12 titles.

Buffalo meanwhile raced out to a 26-win season thanks to a high-flying offense that put up nearly 85 points per game - good for seventh in the country. The Bulls took down Toledo in the MAC championship game to punch their ticket to another NCAA Tournament.

TV Channel: CBS

Opening Betting Line: Arizona -8.5, per 5Dimes.

This is Arizona's 35th NCAA Tournament appearance, and the 7th under head coach Sean Miller.

This is Buffalo's third NCAA Tournament appearance ever. They appeared in the event in 2015 and 2016.

Prediction: Arizona is the clear favorite in this one, especially with Player of the Year candidate Deandre Ayton, who could be the top pick in the upcoming NBA draft. This will be a high-scoring affair, but Buffalo's suspect defense will be its downfall in the end. Arizona wins
