No. 4 Auburn vs No. 13 Charleston Preview: Game Time, Channel, Betting Line, Prediction

The No. 4 seed Auburn Tigers (25-7) take on the No. 13 seed College of Charleston (26-7) in the First Round of the Midwest Region. The game will be played at the Viejas Arena in San Diego on Friday. The start time is 7:27 p.m. ET.

Preview: Bruce Pearl has done it once again. In his fourth season with a team, he's taking them to the NCAA tournament. Auburn shocked the SEC this year, with one of the nation's top offenses. The Tigers got bounced by Alabama in the SEC tournament by Alabama after leading at halftime.

The College of Charleston used a stellar home record en route to its first NCAA Tournament since 1999. The Cougars finished 14-0 at home, and won the Colonial Athletic Association. Its reward is an Auburn team poised for a run.

This is Auburn's ninth NCAA Tournament appearance, and the first under head coach Bruce Pearl. The Tigers are in the tournament for the first time since 2003.

This is Charleston's fifth NCAA Tournament appearance ever. It's the team's first appearance in the tournament since 1999.

Prediction: Both teams haven't played in the NCAA Tournament in some time, but Auburn is the superior program headed into this week's matchup. Auburn wins.
