North Carolina Predicted To Land 5-Star SF Kevin Knox

One of the top uncommitted recruits is expected to land with the Tar Heels.

Kevin Knox, a five-star small forward out of Tampa, Fla., is one of the top uncommitted players in the 2017 class.

The 6-foot-8, 205-pound prospect is the No. 2 small forward and No. 8 player overall in the class, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

Duke, Florida State, Kentucky, Missouri and North Carolina are all believed to still be in contention.

It looks like he's going to end up committing to the Tar Heels.

Duke leads by a pretty good margin on his 247Sports "Crystal Ball" predictions, but UNC has gotten the most-recent two predictions.

The Tar Heels seem to be primed for a surprise commitment.

Knox would be a massive commitment for Roy Williams.

North Carolina's 2017 class includes commitments from four-star combo guard Jalek Felton, the No. 26 player in the class, along with three three-star prospects.

Knox, who's wanted badly by Duke, Kentucky and others, would be an instant contributor and likely starter for the reigning national champions.
