On Wednesday night, North Dakota State took on North Carolina Central in a First Four contest. The winner of the game set a date with Duke in the Round of 64.

The Bison used a hot-shooting star to take a 40-34 lead into the half. The Eagles, however, weren't ready to go home quietly.

North Carolina Central took a five-point lead with just over five minutes left to play in the game. North Dakota State finished the game on a 17-8 run to take home the win.

It was the first NCAA Tournament win for the program since the Bison took down Oklahoma in 2014.

As a reward for winning their first NCAA Tournament game in five years, the Bison get to take on No. 1 overall seed Duke in the next round.

After Zion Williamson returned to the floor from injury, the Blue Devils stormed through the ACC Tournament, wrapping up the top seed.

North Dakota State shot well from the floor on Wednesday night and will need to bring that hot shooting into the Round of 64 to have any chance.

Duke and North Dakota State are set for a Friday night showdown. The Blue Devils and Bison tip off at 7:10 p.m. ET on CBS.
