Northwestern's men's basketball team is going to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history...probably.

The Wildcats topped Michigan in Evanston, Ill. tonight on an epic buzzer-beater.

With the game tied, 65-65, and less than two seconds on the clock, Northwestern threw a full-court pass that led to a game-winning layup at the buzzer.

Northwestern came into the game with its NCAA Tournament standing somewhat in doubt. The Wildcats were a No. 10 seed in Joe Lunardi's latest NCAA Tournament projection on ESPN. With the win tonight, most believe Northwestern has secured its NCAA Tournament berth.
