OddsShark’s computer model has come out with predictions for today’s ACC Tournament games.
The 2017 ACC Tournament gets underway this afternoon in Brooklyn. It is the first major conference tournament to begin play.
There are three first-round games on tap: 12th-seeded Clemson vs. 13th-seeded NC State, 10th-seeded Wake Forest vs, 15th-seeded Boston College and 11th-seeded Georgia Tech against 14th-seeded Pitt.
OddsShark published score predictions for those three games today, as well as for action in other conferences.
The ACC predictions are:
Clemson 78.4, NC State 64.8
Wake Forest 84.9, Boston College 66.1
Georgia Tech 65.1, Pitt 64.5
We didn’t round the predicted scores up or down because the Georgia Tech-Pitt game is literally too close to call, according to OddsShark.
The winner of Clemson-NC State (noon, ESPN2) will face No. 5 seed Duke on Wednesday. Whoever wins between Wake and BC (2 p.m., ESPN2) earns a date with seventh-seeded Virginia Tech tomorrow, and the GT-Pitt (7 p.m., ESPNU) winner faces No. 6 Virginia.
