Anthony Davis wearing No. 0.

DeMarcus Cousins can't play in tonight's NBA All-Star Game, but he was out on the court anyway.

Cousins' New Orleans Pelicans teammate and fellow Kentucky Wildcat Anthony Davis made sure of it.

Cousins was in the middle of a huge season when he tore his Achilles tendon, ending his campaign prematurely. Cousins is one of several stars to go down with injuries this season.

Because he's out of commission, Boogie can't play in tonight's NBA All-Star Game. Enter Davis trying to make sure his teammate was recognized.

When AD took the court for the opening tip, he wasn't wearing his own jersey. Instead, he had on Cousins' number 0.

That's pretty cool on Davis' part. Kentucky fans will love to see it too.

The 2018 NBA All-Star Game, being held in Los Angeles, is currently being televised on TNT.

Team Stephen Curry is leading Team LeBron James 35-29 early on.
