The Cleveland Indians star is taking in tonight's game.
Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis is currently on the disabled list with a shoulder injury, so he wasn't at tonight's season opener against the Texas Rangers.
Kipnis was at a sporting event, though - the national title game.
The All-Star second baseman is taking in Gonzaga-North Carolina at University of Phoenix Stadium.
That's prime sports viewing right there.
Kipnis' Indians managed to pull out a comeback, 8-5 victory over the Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas. Cleveland hit a game-tying home run in the top of the 8th and then scored three runs in the top of the ninth.
At the game Kipnis is attending...North Carolina has gotten out to a 40-35 lead early in the second half.
The national title game is being televised on CBS.
