On Thursday afternoon, the NCAA Tournament officially kicked off with the Round of 64. Minnesota and Louisville got things started with the first upset of the tourney, as the Gophers took down the Cardinals by a final score of 86-76.
A few other upset bids occurred in the first games, but the favorites won out in the end. Yale, New Mexico State and Belmont were all within five points in the final minutes of their games, but ended up losing.
Perhaps the best matchup of the Round of 64 comes in the No. 5-No. 12 matchup between Marquette and Murray State. One of the nation's best players, Ja Morant, leads the Racers against the Golden Eagles.
After one half of play, Morant's squad leads 42-35.
In the stands cheering Morant on is his girlfriend, KK Dixon.
The pair appear to have been dating since fall 2018.

Meanwhile, as for the play on the court, Morant has been his usual dominant self.
In just 20 minutes of play, Morant has 10 points, eight assists and four rebounds. He hit a three-pointer in the final seconds of the first half to extend Murray State's lead to seven just before the break.
