As a redshirt sophomore for Pitt last season, Johnson averaged 11.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game. Johnson put up solid stats last season, but that doesn’t show the best part of his game. The junior-to-be shot an impressive 41.5 percent from three-point range last season, and is just under 40 percent from three in his collegiate career.
Kentucky is still the favorite to land Johnson, but watch out for TCU. The current head coach of the Horned Frogs is former Pitt head coach Jamie Dixon, who recruited Cam Johnson to Pitt in the first place.
