The Panthers are just horrible.
Have you been watching Pittsburgh’s men’s basketball team play this season? No? Good.
The Panthers aren’t worth watching. They’ve been a disaster.
Today, Pitt played Louisville. The Cardinals were missing a couple of their key players. It didn’t matter.
Pittsburgh lost, 94-60. It’s the Panthers’ third 20-plus point loss in a row.
The loss dropped Pitt to 8-18 on the season. They’re 0-13 in the conference. At this point, it’s tough to see this team winning a game in the league.
That’s pretty depressing, considering what this program once was. The Panthers made 13 NCAA Tournaments from 2002 to 2016.
Now, Pitt – barring an absolutely miraculous ACC Tournament championship – has locked in a second straight season without an NCAA Tournament bid. Times are tough.
Louisville blitzes Pitt by 34 at the Pete and the Cards didn't have Deng Adel. Hard to see the Panthers winning an ACC game this year. Amazing.

I need one of those short 30 for 30s on what happened to Pitt basketball. They were always good until a few years ago and I don't remember what happened. Did Dixon get fired and they hired Stallings?? That doesn't seem possible

Where does Pitt go from here? It’s tough to tell.
The Panthers need to do something, though. Because this is just embarrassing.
