The Gamecocks' star will be staying in the NBA Draft.
South Carolina sophomore guard P.J. Dozier won't be returning to the Gamecocks next season.
According to ESPN's Jeff Goodman, the star SEC guard will be staying in the NBA Draft.
South Carolina sophomore PJ Dozier will remain in the NBA draft and sign with an agent, sources told ESPN on Monday.
Dozier was one of the best players in the SEC last season.
He averaged 13.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists a game for the Gamecocks, helping lead the program to the Final Four.
There are concerns about Dozier's shooting ability - he only shot 27.7 percent from the 3-point line - but he's reportedly fully committed to pursuing a professional career.
The 2017 NBA Draft is set to take place on June 22.
