There are over 1,000 men's college basketball players still in the transfer portal, and Detroit Mercy guard Antoine Davis is one of the best of the bunch.
Davis averaged well over 20 points per game in each of his four seasons at Detroit. With 2,734 career points, he's the 22nd-leading scorer in men's college hoops history.
Since entering the portal 10 days ago, Davis has been widely pursued. However, he has officially trimmed his list to five finalists, including the program he might be leaving.
Davis revealed today he is considering transferring to BYU, Georgetown, Kansas State and Maryland. The 6-foot-1 scorer is also thinking of returning to Detroit Mercy and playing another season for his father Mike, the Titans' head coach.
Whoever winds up getting Davis for his final collegiate season will be getting a proven offensive weapon. Three of the programs on his final list--Maryland, Georgetown and Kansas State--are coming off losing campaigns and could really use a player of Davis' caliber.
Davis has already visited all three of those schools and is set to take a trip to BYU this week, per reports.
