There Are 2 'Dark Horses' Involved With 5-Star Moses Brown

There are a couple of "dark horse" teams involved with this five-star recruit.

Moses Brown, a 7-foot big man out of New York, is the No. 1 center in the 2018 class.

Pretty much every high-major program in the country is recruiting him hard and he's yet to trim his list to a final few schools.

Rivals.com recently spoke to Brown about the schools he's considering. There are two "dark horse" teams according to Rivals: Maryland and St. John's.

Both schools are likely going to be involved with the talented big man until the end. The Terps might actually be the favorite at this point.

From Rivals:

Brown, who has recently grown and has done a commendable job of rounding out his interior skill set, has cemented his standing as one of the top big men in high school ball. It is anyone’s guess as to where he might play his likely one year of college basketball, but if St. John's and Maryland may be two dark horses in the mix, outside of the bluebloods. Expect both to remain involved until the very end with the five-star center.

Duke, Kentucky, Louisville, UConn, Florida and Miami are also reportedly involved right now.
