UConn's Donovan Clingan Turning In Dominant Performance

UConn big man Donovan Clingan is making his presence felt in Saturday's Elite 8 matchup vs. Illinois.
The 7'2" sophomore has dominated on both ends and has the Huskies thinking Final Four as they maintain a 30-point lead with nine minutes to go in the second half. So far he has 20 points, 10 rebounds, five blocks and three steals while also getting his teammates involved.
Fans on social media were raving about his play:
"YOU LOVE DONOVAN CLINGAN. WE LOVE DONOVAN CLINGAN. EVERYBODY LOVES DONOVAN CLINGAN," UConn tweeted.
"Block on one end. Dunk on the other. Donovan Clingan can't be stopped."
"Donovan Clingan is a destroyer of worlds," Kyle Tucker said. "Reverse bucket over Coleman Hawkins (who he is terrorizing) and then a spike block on the other end. Now 18 points, 10 boards, 5 blocks, 3 steals and plus-30 (!!!) in 17 minutes. UConn by 23. Warm up the bus."
"I respect Illinois' commitment to continue to try to take it to Donovan Clingan the same way I respect my 5-year-old asking every single night if she can have candy for dinner. It ain't happening," commented Matt Fortuna.
Clingan and the Huskies have put on a masterful performance — at one point holding their opponent to 1-of-19 shooting. It's hard to imagine anyone taking out Connecticut when they play like this.
