The North Carolina-Duke rivalry has seen many players, coaches and all other individuals associated with both schools come and go over the years.
With both schools being national powerhouses when it comes to men's basketball, recruits are often asked to make a decision between the two.
For a pair of high school standouts, the decision may come down to attending a school their father saw as one of his greatest rivals.
Cameron and Cayden Boozer, the sons of Carlos Boozer, have both received scholarship offers from North Carolina. Carlos Boozer won an NCAA title at Duke before going on to have an All-Star career in the NBA.
The Boozer twins are highly-regarded recruits, with Cameron being the top player in the class of 2025. Cayden Boozer is considered a top-25 recruit with more than a year before the end of his college career.
It's an interesting wrinkle in Hubert Davis' short time as North Carolina's head coach. His recruiting strategy clearly shows that no option is off the table, even if it means attempting to secure the sons of a great Duke player.
With several players electing to enter the transfer portal, North Carolina basketball is set to look a lot different this season.
If they're somehow able to land the Boozer twins, UNC could find themselves right back among college basketball's elite - and they could add insult to injury for Duke in the process.
