A stunning college basketball upset just went down. Earlier in the night, Penn State shocked No. 13 Virginia Tech in the ACC/Big Ten challenge.

It didn't take long for the ACC to get revenge. After Penn State took down the Hokies, No. 9 Michigan State was in action against Louisville.

The Cardinals dominated the early portion of the game, but Michigan State battled back and forced overtime. Louisville took over in the overtime period en route to an 82-78 win.

It's the second loss of the season for the Spartans who opened their season with a loss to Kansas. Meanwhile, Louisville bounced back from back-to-back losses against Tennessee and Marquette with the huge win over Michigan State.

Chris Mack's first year as the Louisville head coach is off to a great start. Cardinals fans have to be happy with what they've seen from the program thus far.

Next up for Louisville is a trip to Seton Hall.
