Upset Alert: Michigan State In Tight Battle With Bucknell

Michigan State defends against Bucknell.

The second day of the 2018 NCAA Tournament has begun. We're already knee deep in upset attempts.

Providence had Texas A&M on the ropes early, but couldn't overtake the Aggies in the second half. One team that had no troubling closing out the upset was No. 13 Marshall.

The Thundering Herd knocked off No. 4 Wichita State with a dominant second half. After trialing by three at halftime, Marshall outscored the Shockers 47-38 in the second half to move one.

Now, another upset is in the works. In the tournament for the second-consecutive season is No. 14 Bucknell, and the Bison are giving No. 3 Michigan State all the Spartans can handle.

We all remember the last time Bucknell won an NCAA Tournament game, right? In 2005, the No. 14 Bucknell took on No. 3 Kansas, and dropped the Jayhawks by a final score of 59-55.

We've nearly reached that scoring total after just one half of play. The Spartans hold a 44-40 advantage at the half. The game is being broadcast on TBS.
