On Friday afternoon the NCAA tournament rolled on with a plethora of Day 2 action. The Round of 64 produced only a handful of upsets on Thursday, but brackets were busted on Friday when upsets ran rampant.

It all started with Iowa's win over Cincinnati, which was quickly followed by Oklahoma's dominant performance against Ole Miss. UC Irvine kept the party going when the No. 13 seed took down Kansas State.

The upset train kept rolling right along as No. 12 Liberty knocked off No. 5 Mississippi State to set up a date with Duke.

But that's not all.

No. 16 Iona is giving No. 1 North Carolina all it can handle on Friday night.

The Gaels have hit on over 40-percent of their three-point attempts and enter halftime with a lead over the heavy favorite.

At the half, Iona leads North Carolina 38-33.

North Carolina dominated the boards, but needs to crack down on the arc if it wants to have any chance of staying in this game.

The Gaels have taken 30 shots on the night, 21 of which came from beyond the arc. Iona needs to keep hitting the three-ball in order to stay in the game.

North Carolina forwards are too much to handle for Iona in the paint.

Sty tuned for the second half.
