On Thursday afternoon, the ACC tournament rolled on with a plethora of talented teams in action. Perhaps the best match-up of the day belonged to No. 12 Florida State and No. 16 Virginia Tech.
While their styles of basketball aren’t kind to the eye, the end of the game had everyone talking. With just seven seconds left on the clock, Florida State took the ball up the floor.
Tied at 63, Terance Mann put up an off-angle shot. After bouncing around the rim a few times, the shot fell and gave the Seminoles a 65-63 lead with just 1.8 seconds left on the clock.

It’s not the greatest shot to take from a fundamental aspect, but when the ball goes through the net it’s hard to argue.
Virginia Tech outshot Florida State, connecting on over 44-percent of its baskets to just 38.6-percent from the Seminoles. However, Florida State hit eight more three-pointers en route to the two-point win.
The Hokies head home and will get ready for the NCAA Tournament, while Florida State plays tomorrow night.
With the win, Florida State will get ready to take on Virginia. The Seminoles and Cavaliers are set for a 7:00 p.m. ET tipoff.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
