North Carolina's men's basketball team could be shorthanded in its Sweet 16 matchup against Auburn tonight.

Earlier this week, the Tar Heels announced that five-star freshman Nassir Little could miss the third round NCAA Tournament game.

Little, a top 10 NBA Draft prospect, is dealing with flu-like symptoms.

"Carolina freshman forward Nassir Little will not practice today due to illness (flulike symptoms). He did not practice yesterday in Chapel Hill and his status for Friday’s game vs. Auburn is questionable. He will not be available today for interviews," UNC announced on Thursday afternoon.

12 hours later, it looks like Tar Heels fans can breath a sigh of relief.

North Carolina posted a video of its players at shootaround on Friday afternoon. Right there in the mix was Little.

Check it out.

Little, a 6-foot-6 forward, is averaging 10.0 points and 4.7 rebounds a game for the No. 1-seeded Tar Heels.

The five-star freshman has been great for the Tar Heels through the first two round of the NCAA Tournament. He scored 20 points in a second round win over Washington and 19 points in an opening round victory against Iona.

North Carolina and Auburn are set to tip off at 7:29 p.m. E.T. on Friday.

The game will be on TBS.
