LaVar Ball and his youngest son didn't have a great day on Saturday.
Perhaps no recruit in the country - basketball or football - is going to be more scrutinized over the next couple of years than LaMelo Ball.
LaMelo, the youngest of LaVar Ball's three sons, is just a sophomore in high school, but thanks to his dad and older brother, he's already receiving a ton of hype. He might be worth it, too. The 6-foot-3 point guard is ranked the No. 1 PG and No. 14 player in the 2019 class by 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
When he plays bad, though, he's going to hear it. And that happened on Saturday.
LaVar's AAU team, the Big Ballers, lost to the Compton Magic by more than 50 points.
A video of some of LaMelo's bad play has been posted on Twitter. It's been retweeted more than 5,000 times.
Saturday was a rough day for the Ball family, that's for sure.
LaMelo, like his two older brothers, is committed to play at UCLA.
