Villanova will continue wearing one of its most iconic uniforms when it takes on Radford in the NCAA Tournament on Thursday.

No. 1 seed Villanova will take on No. 16 Radford in the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, but the Wildcats won't be wearing the jerseys of a favorite. Instead, they'll be wearing 1985 throwback uniforms - threads from the year the Wildcats shocked the world and won the NCAA Tournament as an 8-seed.

That year, the Wildcats knocked off Georgetown in the national title game, 66-64.

Villanova announced the news just ahead of the game. They also wore them this past week during the Big East Tournament.

Considering they won that tournament, why not keep it going?

Villanova is no underdog this year - the Wildcats are the No. 2 overall seed in the tournament - behind just No. 1 Virginia.

The Wildcats and Highlands tip off at 6:50 PM ET. The game will be on TNT, and the Wildcats are a 22.5-point favorite.
