The first game of the 2018 NCAA Tournament is already a thriller.

After Oklahoma star guard Trae Young buried two free throws with 14.5 seconds remaining, Rhode Island had a chance for the win.

Guard Jeff Dowtin drove left and took a pull-up. He missed, but Stanford Robinson had a chance at a putback.

It rimmed out after hanging on the rim for what seemed like an eternity. Overtime.

Here's the full sequence.

This game has been everything you could hope for from a 7-10 matchup and the tournament opener. We hope the Madness continues.

The winner of this game gets the winner of Iona-Duke, which will tip after this game.
