Duke, Kentucky, UNC All Watched 4-Star SF Wendell Moore At Peach Jam

Wendell Moore, a four-star small forward in the class of 2019, is drawing attention from the biggest programs in college basketball.

Moore, a North Carolina native, is the No. 24 player in the class of 2019, per 247Sports.

The site also ranks him No. 10 among small forwards and No. 2 in the Tar Heel state.

Duke and Kentucky, the two biggest recruiting powerhouses in the sport right now, have not offered yet, but both programs have shown interest in him.

At last weekend's Peach Jam in Georgia, he had coaches from those two schools, as well as North Carolina and Wake Forest—both programs that have offered him—watching. From ZagsBlog:

On Saturday, Kentucky was two deep with John Calipari and Kenny Payne, North Carolina had Roy Williams and Hubert Davis, Wake Forest had Danny Manning and Duke Jon Scheyer.

“I look at them every now and then,” he said. “I may take a quick peak but other than that I’m just here to play the game.”

Moore has taken unofficial visits to Duke, Kentucky, and UNC, and told ZagsBlog that he intends to take trips to Florida State, Maryland, South Carolina, and Wake Forest. He also says that Kansas is among the schools recruiting him the hardest.
