Yahoo Unveils Big Ten Tournament Prediction

The 2018 Big Ten Tournament just tipped off at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The action will conclude on Sunday.

The Big Ten is the only Power 5 conference playing its league tournament this weekend. We'll see if that helps or hurts its teams in the NCAA Tournament in two weeks.

Yahoo isn't picking either top seed to reach the conference final on Sunday. In fact, their bracket has No. 2 Ohio State losing in the quarterfinals.

Here's a look at Yahoo's semifinals and final prediction:

  • Semifinals
    No. 5 Michigan over No. 1 Michigan State
    No. 3 Purdue over No. 7 Penn State
  • Final
    No. 3 Purdue over No. 5 Michigan

Rutgers and Minnesota will tip-off shortly after the conclusion of that game. That will also be televised on BTN.
