Georgia vs. Troy – Game Time, TV Schedule, Line, Preview, Predictions
The Georgia Bulldogs, who had the ridiculous task of facing both Clemson and South Carolina in consecutive weeks to start their season, will get a bit of a breather when they take on Troy this upcoming Saturday. UGA sits at 1-1 on the season after last week's tough loss to the Gamecocks. The Trojans have yet to win a game and post a record of 0-3 heading into the contest.
Mark Richt's squad has an extremely potent rushing attack, and it could spell trouble early and often for Troy, which has the 118th ranked defense in college football. It's no surprise that the Bulldogs are favored by a very wide margin.

Prediction: Considering this game is sandwiched between contests against South Carolina and Tennessee, it's fair to say that under normal circumstances, this could be a trap game for Georgia. That being said, the Bulldogs, even if disinterested at first, should have no issue blowing out Troy. It's just very hard to see the Trojans being able to slow down UGA's Todd Gurley-led ground game.
This will be a good opportunity for Georgia quarterback Huston Mason, who took over for Aaron Murray this season, to get more experience without so much on the line. While he's been a serviceable signal-caller thus far in 2014, Georgia fans would love to see him be able to dominate a game and not rely so much on Gurley & Co.
We'll take Georgia to win the game and cover the 40-point spread.
