Former LSU LB Says SEC Championship Ring, BCS Watch Stolen From Home
A former LSU linebacker says he was the victim of a home robbery which resulted in the loss of championship jewelry and memorabilia.
Seth Fruge, who suited up for the Tigers from 2009-13, said on Facebook Monday night that his home was broken into and a number of items were taken, including his 2011 SEC championship ring and BCS National Championship watch.
Fruge's post read:
To whoever broke into my house in Shreveport and stole my SEC championship ring, Outback bowl ring, 3 year letterman watch, BCS National Championship watch, and Matthews bow over Christmas break; you stole a lot more than the couple dollars you can get from melting down the crystal and silver.. You stole a reminder of the blood, sweat, and tears over 5 years that I put in with brothers from every race/color, you stole away an award for the thousands of hours of time and relentless effort put in by every player, coach, and trainer that it took to earn them. Along with the bow I've used to hunt every animal since I made my first kill. You also gave away any chance of living a life with any pride or dignity. I pray that justice is served but really just want my memorabilia back and will pay if anyone happens to come across any of these items. Please share with anyone you think could come across them in a pawn shop or places that melt gold/silver. Thanks everyone, I hope y'all have a happier New Years.
This is a really sad story. Hopefully Fruge is able to recover some, if not all, of these items.
