Report: LSU, Alabama Uninterested In Playing At Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium
One of the biggest games of college football's opening weekend features LSU and Wisconsin. The two heavyweight programs will meet at NRG Stadium in Houston on Aug. 30.
If Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez would've had his way, though, the game would've been played in Baton Rouge, La. Then, in 2016, the Badgers and Tigers would've met at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisc. Instead, the two teams will play another neutral site game at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisc.
A report by madison.com reveals that LSU, along with Alabama, was not interested in playing a true home-and-home series that involved a trip to Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium.

From the report:
The UW athletic director said he sought to have a genuine home-and-home non-conference series with LSU for 2014 and 2016.
“They weren’t interested,” he said.
What was the rationale?
“They wouldn’t tell you why,” Alvarez said. “They just weren’t interested.”
It is true that it takes two schools to make a series, so Wisconsin is responsible for this being a neutral-and-neutral set instead of a home-and-home, but if what Alvarez is saying is correct, the Badgers are having trouble getting top teams to come to Madison.
It makes sense. We ranked Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium as one of the most intimidating venues in college football. LSU's Tiger Stadium was up there, too, though.
