4-Star OL Obinna Eze Chooses Memphis Over SEC Programs
Obinna Eze, a four-star offensive lineman out of Nashville (Tenn.) Davidson Academy, committed to Memphis today. The Tigers won out for Eze despite him holding offers from a number of SEC programs.
According to Eze's 247Sports profile, he owned offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.

One word of caution here: it's not clear how many of the SEC offers Eze had were committable ones. Eze did camp at four SEC schools this summer: Kentucky, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.
Either way, the 6-foot-6, 279-pound Eze is a quality prospect for the Tigers to land. He's a top-10 player in the state of Tennessee and the 26th-ranked offensive tackle in the 2017 class according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings.
