Heather Fleck, the wife of Minnesota Golden Gophers head coach P.J. Fleck, is not thrilled with a local reporter, to say the least. Fleck, in defense of her husband, took to Twitter on Thursday to criticize a writer named Patrick Reusse who works for the Star Tribune.

Fleck responded to a tweet from Reusse, which poked fun at Minnesota's first season under Fleck. She called Reusse out for "slamming" Fleck, asking him why he's so negative all the time.

Why are you so negative and awful all the time??? What is your issue with a man that gives his ENTIRE life to making a program and young lives BETTER??? Maybe you should take a look at what he does for the community and for our youth before you slam him all the time.

Reusse responded with one word - "balance." It seems he's implying that he's just doing his job and trying not to be a fanboy reporter.

Fleck has shown to be very supportive of her husband. She's taken to social media a number of times to convey that she'll always be on his team.

Minnesota started the 2017 season strong, but lost seven of its final nine games to finish with a 5-7 record. Golden Gophers fans will expect improvement in 2018.
