Committee Releases Final Rankings Before Sunday's College Football Playoff Unveiling, And The Top 4 Is Shocking

At this point, with most of the power conferences having finished their regular seasons, we have a good sense of which teams will occupy the first three spots in this year's four team College Football Playoff. Barring an upset, Alabama, Oregon seem like locks for the field, while we assume Florida State would be one as well, with an undefeated season and ACC Championship. The last spot holds a bit more intrigue.

TCU ran through the Big 12 aside from a very close loss at Baylor, has a nice non-conference win over Minnesota, and has looked more consistent than the Bears for the most part. Baylor owns that head to head win over TCU, and the two have the same record and will split the conference championship, unless Baylor loses to Kansas State. Ohio State faces Wisconsin for the Big Ten championship, and has been pretty dominant most weeks since an early loss to Virginia Tech.
