Avante Dickerson, a 2021 four-star cornerback, is one of the elite defenders from the state of Nebraska and a top target by most of the nation's top programs.

But it looks like Dickerson has narrowed down his list, and has chosen a few schools renown for developing star defensive backs.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Dickerson announced his top three list of schools. The list consists of Ohio State, Nebraska, and LSU.

247Sports rates Dickerson as the No. 77 overall prospect in the class of 2021. He is the No. 8 cornerback in the nation, and the No. 1 prospect from the state of Nebraska.

Ohio State and LSU are considered two of the top developers of defensive backs in the country, sending a ton of their cornerbacks and safeties to the NFL over the past few years.

Nebraska is also a fairly natural option given that it's his in-state option.

247Sports' Crystal Ball Predictions currently have Nebraska as Dickerson's choice with only one analyst projection him to join Scott Frost's side.

Dickerson would be an absolutely huge addition to Nebraska's 2021 recruiting class. The Huskers currently have just three players recruited for the class, which ranks No. 6 in the Big Ten and No. 19 in the country per 247Sports.
