College Baseball Coach: "Chiefs Can Have Taylor Swift, We'll Take Dolly Parton"

A music icon will attend a football game when Dolly Parton goes to Neyland Stadium to watch Tennessee play Georgia this Saturday.
Baseball coach Tony Vitello is eager to see the local legend.
Via Ryan Sylvia of Rivals, Vitello said he tried calling into Howard Stern's radio show on Wednesday to speak to Parton, but he didn't get picked. That star-struck coach hopes to meet the country music legend.
"Maybe I'll get to say hello to her in person," Vitello said. "The Kansas City Chiefs can have Taylor Swift all they want. We'll take Dolly Parton on Saturday."
Vitello is also excited to see former MLB star Todd Helton, who played quarterback for the Vols before a fruitful 17-year career with the Colorado Rockies.
Parton, whose musical career began a few decades before Swift, looked forward to watching Tennessee football in an announcement earlier this week. She also plans to sing a live version of "Rocky Top."
"I am so excited to join 101,000 of my friends in the best place for college football, Neyland Stadium," Parton said. "I will see you there."
CBS probably won't cut to Parton in the stands during the game as much as ESPN will show Swift cheering on Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. Swifties also shouldn't expect a live performance from the multi-time Grammy Award winner.
Saturday's SEC showdown between Tennessee and Georgia starts at 3:30 p.m. ET.
