8 Huge Neutral-Site Games With BCS Implications: USC vs Syracuse

6. USC vs. Syracuse (9/8/2012 - East Rutherford, NJ)

Last year, Syracuse traveled to the Coliseum and was trounced, 38-17, when Matt Barkley threw for 324 yards and 5 touchdowns.

This year, the Trojans return the favor and head east to face a Syracuse team that lost its last five contests in 2011 (one more win would have made them bowl eligible). USC comes off its postseason ban this year, and should be ranked in the top five when the polls are released in August. The Trojans will need to beat the Orange handily to stay in contention for the BCS Championship.
