The Ravens haven’t signed Colin Kaepernick. Here’s why:
According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick would already have a job, if it were up to Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and GM Ozzie Newsome. But they’ve met “resistance” from team owner Steve Bisciotti regarding the potential move.
Kaepernick, who played his first six seasons for the San Francisco 49ers, has had a difficult time finding a job this summer, despite impressive numbers (QB rating of 90.7) a year ago.
Many have attributed his unemployment to his decision to kneel for the national anthem ahead of games last season.

Kaepernick still could find a job before the season begins, but it now looks less likely that that job will be with the Ravens.
