NFL fan dead after falling between 30 and 50 feet at Sports Authority Field after Monday night’s Broncos-Texans game in Denver.
From the Associated Press report on the incident, which occurred near the North side of the stadium.
Stadium Management Co., which operates Sports Authority Field at Mile High, said the fan fell over a stairwell railing.
The medical examiner’s office said Tuesday the man was transported to a hospital and pronounced dead.
According to USA Today, the fan died from his injuries early Tuesday morning after being transported to the Denver Health Medical Center. The fan’s identity has not yet been released.
The Denver Police Department released a statement about the fall on Tuesday afternoon.

The Broncos defeated former Denver quarterback Brock Osweiler and the Houston Texans 27-9 in the Monday Night Football game, to push their record to 5-2.
