On Tuesday night, the Cleveland Browns made headlines when the team traded for star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. Cleveland sent first and third round picks and safety Jabrill Peppers for the All-Pro wide receiver.
Cleveland fans rejoiced at the trade, while New York fans chastised general manager Dave Gettleman. After saying the team didn’t sign Odell just to trade him, Gettleman did exactly that.
While the Giants are going full rebuild mode, the Browns are building a monster. But the team isn’t done just yet.
According to multiple reports, the Browns are now focused on safety Earl Thomas.
After shipping Peppers to New York, the Browns are reportedly “feeling good” about their chances of landing Thomas.
Here’s the report from CBS Sports insider Jason La Canfora.
Browns feeling good about the chances to land Earl Thomas. Not sitting back at all. Then stack depth by taking best player available through the draft and get used yo hosting prime time games again. It's on in The Land

Signing Earl Thomas to replace Jabrill Peppers would be a major upgrade at the position, while also landing an All-Pro receiver in the process.
Cleveland is making a case as the best team in the AFC North as the Steelers and Ravens lost key players this week.
Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry and Nick Chubb on the offensive side with Myles Garrett, Olivier Vernon, Denzel Ward and potentially Earl Thomas makes for a scary roster.
