Carson Wentz has had to hear his name mentioned in trade rumors over the last week or so, as the Philadelphia Eagles make another run in the NFL’s postseason with Nick Foles.
Much of that talk has gone away over the last hour or so, though.
The Eagles are currently losing to the Saints, 20-14, in the NFC’s Divisional Round.
Foles has been bad, too.
The Eagles’ quarterback has completed 17 of 28 passes for 185 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. He’s missed some important throws over the last quarter-plus.
The talk has shifted on social media…

Nick Foles is a legend. Carson Wentz is better. These are not mutually exclusive.

Carson Wentz has nothing to worry about…

Regardless of what happens the rest of the way, the Eagles’ offseason is going to be a fascinating one. Even though Foles hasn’t played great today, it’s clear that the offense – and team in general – has looked different with him behind center.
The Saints are currently beating the Eagles, 20-14.
